Originally one of the front parlors, Room 1 is now a charming guest room tucked away on the ground floor with a figured maple queen canopy bed, a small gas stove/fireplace (seasonal use,) and private bathroom. CATV, A/C, WiFi.   For parents dropping off a UConn student, or a restful stop-over on your way up to Maine, this is a great choice in accommodations.  As one of our first-floor rooms, this is a fine room for those who want to avoid stairs.
